Halloween Decorations

The kids had a blast this Halloween. I think it lasted all month. It started with our Ward's first Trunk or Treat. The kids helped me with decorating our van. We actually won for best decorations.

We couldn't let all the decorations go to waste so we added them to our front lawn and front door. You will have to check out the video on Youtube. www.youtube.com/user/rovert1969
Julie had driven to Washington the night before with her mom so it was up to me to get them ready. I am sure Julie would have done a better job on the face paint. The kids helped me decorate our driveway with pumpkins, monsters, bones and warning signs using chalk. One of their favorite past times.
We actually grew all six of our pumpkins this year but that was all we grew. I can't wait until next year.

Just realized tonight that I missed my 20 year high school reunion. I am kind of sad but not really. I have a lot of bad memories from high school and I am pretty sure that those people I would like to see most would not have attended. If any one actually stubbles across this blog from my high school I just want to let you know that I am doing great. I have a wonderful family. An amazing marriage of going on 13 years and four wonderful kids. I work for the Air Force creating special effects, motion graphics and computer animation for video productions. I hope you all are doing well and wish the best of luck to all.

I am no longer the winner

All right I am back into second place. Well back to the pavement.

I'm the winner

It's great to be leading a race. The only problem is that the other people don't know it's a race. I have been using a site called bikejournal.com to record my bike mileage and times. There are five other people in Syracuse that use the site as well. Today I passed the leader and am now leading after the 40 miles I added this morning. I have no idea if they are keeping up on their records but it was a confidence booster nonetheless. And burning 2660 calories doesn't hurt either. Though you'd think I would be losing weight.

I recently returned from a family reunion up at Bear Lake. I was really looking forward to biking around the lake. I was saving it for the last day there but unfortunately hurt my back the day before so I spent the last day there laying on the couch. I took this picture the day before. I am glad I at least made it to Idaho.

This last picture is of my wife on the left and her sister-in-law Kariann on the right.
Again these were taken with my phone so I am sorry for the low quality. I need to get me a nice small camera that I can carry with me.
